Erick and Edgar Comellas aren’t just brothers, they’re the dynamic duo of entrepreneurship. Spurred by their love for OneWheel, they created Float Gang to help fellow fans share their love of this unique form of transportation through unique apparel.
To be honest, we were just as excited to work with them as they were to launch!
The Challenge
Float Gang operated as a Shopify site for about a year before coming to us, but the Comellases quickly realized that it couldn’t stand up to the job. Updating product pages was a laborious task and furthermore, the site didn’t convey the image they had in mind for Float Gang.
Erick and Edgar take a more “hands on” approach to their business, but the amount of work involved in keeping their website running was more than they could handle. That’s where we came in!
The Work
We started out by rebuilding Float Gang in WooCommerce (including custom icons) to make updates easier and improve visibility toward prospective customers. We also optimized existing blog posts for search engines so they could be discovered.
Before Float Gang started working with us, their site was only ranking for about a dozen keywords. Now, they rank for about 1,000 of them!
The Future
Before working with Clarity, Float Gang was constantly frustrated by the amount of unnecessary work it took to keep their vision alive. Now, they can run the site with minimal assistance, putting the control back into their hands—right where it belongs.
With new apparel designs dropping all the time, Float Gang is proving itself to be a standout in the OneWheel space and we’re excited to see how much further they can go!
